Technologies The company develops proprietary, novel approaches to computer-aided drug design, which are unique and lead to powerful means. These programs are not intended to be commercialized, they constitute one important component of the company’s unique potential. Synergix's platform is made of in-house and commercially available packages. There is no single method that is important for molecular modeling in drug design that we do not have. Our molecular modelists work in an integrated design environment (IDE) that is continuously developed to maximize their creativity. At Synergix we develop technologies that are both generic and specific for a particular project. The combination of the two approaches creates a real synergy that constitutes the basis of Synergix proprietary platform for lead discovery.
Synergix has developed a proprietary database of successful rational drug design achievements. This allows the research scientists to easily gain insights into complex problems already solved by Synergix scientists and by other groups. It constitutes an in-house database of invaluable price and high informational content. It is continuously updated and is a powerful basis of reference information for Synergix’s scientists.
Specific Tools for Specific projects Synergix computer scientists are associated with specific projects; they develop ad-hoc tools for the projects concerned, allowing the molecular modelists to create new molecules in an efficient and optimal way. In addition the computer scientists contribute by developing an efficient integrated software platform where both in-house and commercial software are coherently unified. One important key for successful rational drug design achievements is the development of a close collaboration between the molecular modelists and the computer scientists associated to the project.
